Paragraphs/Intros

First person narrative - informal

"Have you ever felt judged by strangers or even your mates based on the way you dress? Chances are, you're not the only one.
Society has this thing about having a fashion identity. These days EVERYONE has one - but it's not something to fuss over! A fashion identity is the way someone sees you or makes judgements as to what you do, listen to, even eat, all based on the way that you dress. Maybe you're aware of it, maybe you're not, either way, you have one! You might wonder if it's a good thing or a bad thing... well, it can be either. Fashion is a sure way that youths tend to express themselves, think about it, in a world of 7 billion people, how are you going to stand out? OR maybe you don't want to stand out, right? Well, you can swap identities, simple, you just have to wear different clothes. However this idea of fashion identity can cause problems between different cultural groups created by it, it is almost a given that behaviour is affected by fashion. There's a pattern that suggests the youths of today are slowly becoming more accepting, but it's not always that simple, there have been known attacks on teenagers based on the way that they are dressed because another 'stereotype' didn't approve, has it ever happened to you?"

Third Person narration - formal

"Society has a clear idea of fashion identity. Particularly amongst youths, it is a problem that has a tendency to be ignored or unnoticed. A fashion identity is something that is given to every teenager, there are assumptions made about a person solely based on what they are wearing. Does this support the idea of different cultural groups amongst teenagers? Certainly. Most teenagers feel that they belong to a certain group of people, and would tend not to hang around with others who do not dress similarly, as the assumption is made that there are no common grounds in terms of interests, therefore no potential to get along. Sometimes a hatred is formed by a complete stranger on someone just because they do not approve of dress sense."

Question intro
"What does your dress sense say about you? No, not your figure, what does it literally say about you? People make assumptions on you based on how you dress. You have created an identity for yourself, but which one?"

Summary Intro
"A Fashion Identity lets other people make assumptions as to who you are, what you like and don't like, whether it is true or not, you're judged based on the way you're dressed. That's a fact.  It may sound like nothing, but a fashion identity can be the greatest and the worst thing to have..."
